March was a hard month as we moved into unfamiliar territory with COVID-19. However, one thing has remained the same: the love and care for our residents. We are personally delivering 3 meals a day, have wellness opportunities within the CDC guidelines, and providing regular housekeeping and maintenance. Mrs. Helen Floyd, a resident, wanted to share why she loves MRC Cornerstone and why hindsight is 2020 living at Cornerstone.
Sounded perfect for me…
“When it was time to move out of my house, I knew MRC Cornerstone was the place I wanted to be! I had visited friends here and was impressed by their lovely apartments. Everyone seemed friendly and happy with their life here. They bragged on the dining room and, after 55 years of cooking meals 3 times a day, that sounded perfect for me!”
Choosing MRC Cornerstone was the best decision…
“Having worked in our yard with my husband all through the years, I was smitten with the grounds that I wouldn’t have to keep. Choosing MRC Cornerstone was the best decision I could have made. I love the friends I have made. We have more activities than I can find time to enjoy. We have chapel twice a week and a very caring chaplain who visits with us often. We have wonderful care-givers to help us keep house, serve meals, drive us to appointments, etc.”
It is the best life…
“It is great to be independent and not have to call on loved ones except for emergencies. It is the best life I can imagine for seniors and I thank the Lord for the opportunity to be here.” - Helen
